Primark Meadowhall Sweeps clean
For the second year in a row, Primark Meadowhall was judged 2011 Retail Store of the year in Grosvenor Services’ Annual Hygiene Awards. Over 100 retail stores, from a range of High Street retailers, were judged in the competition.
Presenting the Wallasey trophy - named after the Wallasey Primark store which won the first of these awards 10 years ago – Ben McCauley, director at Grosvenor, congratulated the winning team for their dedication, team work and commitment to high standards.
The trophy and cash prize were presented to the winning team in the presence of Primark’s regional controller, Tony Slipman and also Nick Petherbridge, store manager of Meadowhall, who has championed the competition over the years.
